Come Join Our Team of Volunteers! 

There are typically 7 to 15 volunteers at each work session or tech night.  In February 2008, there were over 220 volunteer hours. At a conservative rate of $15 per hour, that amounts to $3,300.00 donated to Computer Banc in one month!

When is Help Needed?
Tech Nights (alternating Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-8p; see the Schedule page)
Work Days (first and third Saturday of each month, 10-2)
Office Hours (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1-4p).

What Can I Do for Computer Banc?
We can use volunteers of all talents: 

• Fixing computers or installing software
• Organizing or filing
• Fundraising
• Moving equipment around
• Simple cooking for the volunteer lunches
• Writing articles for the Newsletter
• Data entry or database design
• Phoning clients
• Mailing flyers

We have a few specific needs at this time, as follows.

Light Office Support Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday afternoon 1-4 • Data input • Photocopying • Appointment reminder calls • Assistance with mailings.

Customer Service Assistant About once a week - Tuesday or Thursday evenings 6:00 - 8:00 pm • Coordinate the pick up process for our families when picking up their PC. • Oversee the short paperwork process • Help clients set up their computer (optional)

Please note: A Parent (or legal guardian) must attend the first several sessions with and sign the paperwork for any volunteer under age of 16.
